Coors Light averages 4.2% Alcohol By Volume Jack Skellington hug Coors Lights shirt, as do most competitive Light or Lite branded American beers. Most of the competitive non-right branded American beers run about 5% (6% a rare max.). For example, 12oz of Budweiser contains .6oz of alcohol vs. .5oz for a light beer. So, 6 of 12oz cans of light beer contains the same alcohol as 5 cans of non-light beer. Consumed quickly enough, either will make you legally drunk. I think Miller Lite sucks….has an aftertaste. But I haven’t had it in about 5 years. I think Coors is marginally better…very cold and frankly as the base for a summer shandy mixed with lemonade or lemon-lime soda. I used to drink Amstel Light and Sam Adams light and I thought SA Light was a good light beer and actually better than some other regular beers.

Best Jack Skellington hug Coors Lights shirt,
However, if you had it next to a real SA Boston Lager…Jack Skellington hug Coors Lights shirt, stand a chance. However, you cant find it in my local market anymore. My cure for light beer is drinking less beer or drinking lighter beers like Kona Blonde Ale or its other light ales, Modelo’s lighter beer which is ok or even some of the Japanese beers. Tried Bass, Heineken, Corona, other lights….all lacked flavor. If someone makes a lighter beer but hopped it up they might have a shot but I don’t think light beers are aimed at hopheads or craft beer drinkers. Coors Light is an American Adjunct Lager. The difference between a regular lager and an adjunct lager is that adjunct lagers use non-malt ingredients such as corn or rice.
